Culture In Bangkok

Bangkok the capital city of Thailand is popular for its rich history and traditions. Thailand is well known for its exotic culture and rich history. The vibrant Thai culture includes classical dances, music, attire, art and architecture. Buddhism is also an integral part of Bangkok culture. Bangkok, which has been the capital of Thailand since 18th century, has gained prominence as a cultural center not only in the country but also in Asia. The people of Bangkok are very friendly by nature. Wherever you go, you will be greeted with the traditional Thai gesture named ‘wai’. Being a tourist hotspot that welcomes tourists from different parts of the world the city has developed a distinct cultural identity.
